1. What Proven Is
Proven is an AI-powered startup idea validation tool. You submit an idea. You get a 10-section Founder's Brief back — market pain evidence pulled from live Reddit threads, Hacker News comments, and App Store reviews; a competitor landscape; a target persona with willingness-to-pay signals; MVP feature priorities; a go-to-market plan; pricing signals; a risk map; and a build/kill verdict. That's the service.
2. Accounts
Accounts are free to create. No credit card required to sign up. If you buy before creating an account, we create one for the email you enter at Stripe checkout; if that email already has a Proven account, the purchase is credited to it and you sign in through a link sent to that email.
3. Briefs and Billing
Proven is priced in Founder's Briefs. One brief is one full validation run. Briefs are purchased as one-time packs or one-time lifetime plans via Stripe — there are no subscriptions. Three packs are available: 1 Founder's Brief ($19), 5 Briefs ($69), and 15 Briefs ($149). Prices may change; briefs you have already purchased never expire and are always honored.
Every Founder's Brief includes 3 improvements — you can flag report sections, add corrections, and trigger a targeted re-run at no extra charge — and free idea sharpening. Quick Signal scans are free.
14-day satisfaction guarantee: if a brief does not meet your expectations within 14 days of purchase, contact us and we will make it right — in order, we offer an account credit toward another brief, a free re-run with your corrections applied, troubleshooting with the team, and, if none of that resolves it, a cash refund at our discretion. A cash refund revokes access to the refunded report. If a report fails to generate due to a technical error on our end, we restore the brief automatically so you can run it again.
4. Lifetime Plans
Founding Lifetime ($299) and Founding Business ($999) are one-time purchases that stay active for as long as Proven operates — no monthly payments, no renewals. Each plan includes a monthly brief allowance (5 and 20 briefs respectively) that resets on the 1st of each month (UTC) and does not accumulate: unused allowance briefs do not roll over. Purchased briefs and $9 member top-ups never expire; the monthly allowance is spent before purchased briefs.
Founding spots are limited. The founding price is locked for the founding cohort and immune to future price increases. Lifetime plans are non-refundable except where required by law; the guarantee ladder in Section 3 still applies to individual briefs. Lifetime plans are for personal use — using briefs as client deliverables requires the Founding Business client-work license.
Founding Lifetime members can upgrade to Founding Business in-app while Business spots remain. The upgrade price is the difference between the two plans, shown before checkout. On upgrade, the full Business monthly allowance applies immediately, and the original Founding Lifetime spot is not released back into the founding pool.
5. Human-Reviewed Briefs
Human-reviewed briefs are available exclusively to Founding Business members — one per membership, requested by email. When you request one, a member of the Proven team — in practice, Dairon Canel — reads your validation report, checks the sources, and sends written feedback and a verdict. This is the only case in which anyone other than you reads your validation data. It happens only when you explicitly activate it. The brief is reviewed for feedback purposes only — not shared, sold, or used for any other purpose. If you purchased a legacy Founder's Sprint pack that included one human-reviewed brief, that entitlement is honored in full.
6. Your Ideas
You own everything you submit. Your ideas are private — only you can see them and the reports they generate. We do not share, sell, or use your submitted ideas for any purpose other than generating your report and delivering any features you explicitly activate.
7. AI-Generated Reports
Reports are generated by AI using your submitted idea as input. They are signals — not business advice, market research, or investment guidance. Proven makes no guarantee of accuracy or market outcomes. Build decisions are yours.
8. Acceptable Use
You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights. Automated submissions and scraping are prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
Proven is provided as-is. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from decisions made based on validation reports.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
