1. What Proven Is
Proven is a startup validation and execution tool for solo founders. It takes an idea through four phases, Ideate, Validate, Build, and Launch, each with tools built on real data: pain evidence from Reddit, Hacker News, and App Store reviews, competitor and pricing research, a persona and positioning generator, a go-to-market plan, and tools that keep watching your market and your competitors after you have shipped something. Every account sees the full roadmap from the moment you sign up. A free account covers one idea; a subscription covers as many as you want and adds the weekly market and competitor scans.
2. Accounts
Accounts are free to create. No credit card required to sign up. If you buy before creating an account, we create one for the email you enter at Stripe checkout; if that email already has a Proven account, the purchase is credited to it and you sign in through a link sent to that email.
3. Subscription and Billing
Proven runs on a monthly subscription, $1 a month right now, with 4 spots left at this price before it steps up to $2. The price steps up as spots fill. The price you join at is the price you keep for as long as your subscription stays active, even after the public price moves past it.
Every account is free to create and comes with the full roadmap, visible from day one. A free account covers one idea and a first run of each tool on it. Running a tool again, or adding more ideas, requires a subscription.
There is no trial. Your card is charged when you subscribe, and payments are not refundable. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Canceling stops future billing, and your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Prices may change for new subscribers; if you are already subscribed, your price stays the same unless you cancel and resubscribe later at whatever price is available then.
If you purchased a Founder's Brief pack or a Founder's Brief before the subscription launched, that report is yours permanently. You can still read it, and it is never deleted, even though Proven no longer sells or generates new Founder's Briefs.
4. Your Ideas and Products
You own everything you submit. Your products are private; only you can see them and everything Proven generates for them. We do not share, sell, or use your submitted ideas or product data for any purpose other than running Proven for you and delivering any features you explicitly activate.
5. AI-Generated Content
Everything Proven generates (persona and positioning analysis, competitor research, go-to-market plans, and the rest) is produced by AI using the data you provide as input. Treat it as a signal, not business advice, market research, or investment guidance. Proven makes no guarantee of accuracy or market outcomes. Build decisions are yours.
6. Acceptable Use
You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights. Automated submissions and scraping are prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
Proven is provided as-is. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from decisions made based on its outputs.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
